“Hollow Knight” is a Souls-like Metroidvania set in a hauntingly beautiful world that you’ll want to explore every inch of. Unfortunately, doing so takes a lot of trial and error! https://tulipandsnowflake.com/ Enemies, particularly bosses, are absolutely brutal, and battling against them can leave you feeling hollow yourself! But the moments between bosses can be just as difficult, since maps aren’t always reliable, and the platforming challenges can be equally deadly. Anyone who has taken on the Path of Pain is sure to have gotten hand cramps at the very least! Don’t get us wrong though – “Hollow Knight” is incredibly fun, and we can’t wait for the sequel!
We’re grouping the Souls family into one entry to stop the whole list from becoming dominated by FromSoftware’s titles. Most of the Souls games follow a similar but punishing, formula. Elden Ring is actually one of the easier options despite having some of the hardest late-game bosses such as Malenia or Promised Consort Radahn.

He thinks league is the hardest game along with football even harder than all the other popular sports cause it’s more accessible than all other sports and has more people playing comp games which are ranked game according to him lol. A game that literally throws players into the meat grinder, “Super Meat Boy” is a throwback to NES-era platformers where a high difficulty was used to prolong an otherwise short campaign. The only difference is… “Super Meat Boy” has around 300 levels, pitch-perfect controls, and never feels cheap. Also, it is arguably harder than most NES games. Playing as a cube of meat trying to survive level after level riddled with blades, salt and various other obstacles, “Super Meat Boy” rarely gives you the chance to breathe or get comfortable; in fact, a split-second tends to be the difference between your character and an unidentifiable red stain.
That being said, it’s the first Dark Souls game that deserves accolades when it comes to difficulty. The title took the Demon’s Souls formula and made it even harder, and bleaker, and filled its dark world with so many masochistic delights it would make a Cenebite blush. Elden Ring may have taken the series into the light, but it was Dark Souls that enveloped players in FromSoft’s addictive shroud.

This is not down to acting or delivery for me, it more feels that as your character is a silent participant it’s difficult to rouse any sense of chemistry between the characters. This leaves some folk you meet feeling like they are over acted a tad or trying too hard.
Skill points can be reassigned at will with no penalty for doing so. This approach is in particular very helpful to player new to this style of game, allowing for choices to be made and later tweaked when better versed in the lay of the land. You’ll not be left kicking yourself at any stage.
